Motivation
Less pressure for fundraising and grants committee, more sustainable year-round process rather than a high pressure few months where we have to chase applicants and enforce arbitrary deadlines, we are also restricting ourselves to people who happen to need funding at that point in time, applicants have to wait for our grants round which can be several months away
Also will have more consistent PR and updates to the community on the funding front
What would change
Applications will be open year long and we will need to coordinate with fundraising to make sure we have funds to give out grants more consistently

Discuss it, get thoughts or concerns from people, vote on it
If we agree this is the way forward will need to communicate out this change, modify the Application
