I’m a builder and researcher who’s been working on a small, working prototype of a stablecoin pegged to basic human needs — something I think aligns with MolochDAO’s mission of supporting public goods and economic stability.
The concept is simple: instead of pegging to fiat currencies, the token reflects the true cost of living (indexed to a bundle of essential resources like protein levels in food, energy, and water). It’s designed to be a non-speculative, persistent-value currency — one that aims to empower people rather than extract value from them.
I’ve built a demo smart contract (deployed to Sepolia), a backend, and a frontend — and I’d love to get your thoughts or see if you might be interested in offering feedback, mentorship, or collaboration.
