PLEARN was founded on the belief that Financial literacy is important not only because it provides a foundation for informed financial decision-making, but because financial responsibility is increasing.We believe that financially educated young adults will know how to make savvy financial decisions that can help them avoid costly and lasting effects. Moreover, with the increasing importance of sustainable investments in the financial market, youth will inevitably be confronted with sustainable investment options when deciding how to allocate their assets. But without a proper knowledge of sustainability and its inclusion in financial products, youth will not be able to make informed investment decisions and achieve efficient market outcomes. When this knowledge is absent or insufficient, youth become prone to possibly misleading marketing and manipulation by financial providers.

Problems

  1. The lack of basic foundation to build on for financial literacy among teens.
  2. The Annual wasteful consumption of youth (under 39) which is approximately $11.7 billion
  3. The Lack of sustainable finance literacy in school

Solution

After conducting a thorough research, we found that youth lack the basic skills and knowledge to make financial decisions which means that there is a great need to promote financial capability among the young. Also we noticed the gap that exists between the amount of financial responsibility given to the young and their demonstrated ability to manage financial decisions and take advantage of financial opportunities, is rapidly widening. Unless significant action is taken to alter this and enable youth to make savvy financial decisions, financial illiteracy will remain an obstacle to youth’ financial security, and here is where our idea started to take shape. PLEARN is a virtual board game to raise kids and youths’ awareness about financial literacy. It is the new board game pioneer that introduces a financial management tool to the market that is based on blockchain and built in the Metaverse. Moreover, with the increasing importance of sustainable investments in the financial market, youth will inevitably be confronted with sustainable investment options when deciding how to allocate their assets. But without a proper knowledge of sustainability and its inclusion in financial products, youth will not be able to make informed investment decisions and achieve efficient market outcomes. When this knowledge is absent or insufficient, youth become prone to possibly misleading marketing and manipulation by financial providers. As game creators, we intend to empower youth with strong financial literacy to be able to make savvy financial decisions through allowing participants to play PLEARN in order to learn how to manage their finances via its four pillars: trading deals, real estate deals, auction market deals, and ESG-relating project deals. The game has two phases; players vs environment and players vs players. Through the players’ journey, they will be using three different tokens ; Ambition (AMBI), Visualization(VISI) and manifestation (MANI). AMBI is the native utility token of PLEARN which is used to play and pay transaction fees. VISI is the stablecoin token which will be used for lending. MANI is the governance token which allows the players to participate in submitting the proposals and voting process.

Traction revenue

Even though, we don’t have users for our games but depending on some studies and researches, we found out that gaming industry is growing by 12% annually, physical board game segment is growing 13% annually, User has positive feeling about gaming experience because it offer mental simulation by 80%. Based on all of the statistics, and the fact that we stand out in this market to provide high quality services and potential opportunities to make profits.
